1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the CongressWatch mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). The App is provided by ConsoleLog LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

CongressWatch is a free mobile application that allows users to explore political funding data for members of the United States Congress. The App displays PAC (Political Action Committee) donation data, lobbying connections, and funding comparisons. All data is aggregated from official U.S. Government sources including the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and Senate Lobbying Disclosure Act (LDA) filings.

3. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Political contribution data, lobbying data, and all other information displayed in the App is sourced from publicly available government databases and enriched using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy:

• Data is provided "as-is" without warranty of completeness or accuracy
• There may be delays between when data is filed with the FEC and when it appears in the App
• AI-generated PAC descriptions and classifications may contain inaccuracies
• Lobbying-to-PAC matching is performed algorithmically and may contain errors
• Funding totals are based on available FEC records and may not capture all sources

We are not responsible for errors in upstream government data sources. CongressWatch does not endorse, recommend, or oppose any political party, candidate, PAC, or company.

4. User Conduct

When using CongressWatch, you agree to:

• Use the App for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes only
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Not attempt to interfere with the App's servers, APIs, or databases
• Not scrape, harvest, or bulk-download data from the App
• Not misrepresent data from the App as your own research or reporting

5. Watchlist Features

CongressWatch includes watchlist features that allow you to follow specific politicians and PACs. By using these features:

• You understand that watchlist data is stored anonymously
• We reserve the right to reset or modify feature behavior at any time
• Watchlist and comparison features do not constitute financial or political advice

6. Intellectual Property

The CongressWatch app, its design, code, and branding are the property of ConsoleLog LLC. Government data displayed in the App is in the public domain. AI-generated descriptions are created by ConsoleLog LLC and may not be reproduced in bulk without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONSOLELOG LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is $0, as CongressWatch is free).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ConsoleLog LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the applicable courts.
